And I hoped for a change to come,
I saw it also and heard the call,
But it was nothing but my silly thought!
You know how when I sleep,
I think of things I wish would be true,
Of things my mind knows to be unlikely,
Of fancies and dreams so few...
And I indulge myself in those thoughts,
The thoughts of unfulfilled dreams,
The thoughts like fake fairytales,
The thoughts do endless seem...
But why I think am I thinking
Of things that never were,
Or things that may never be,
Of things so longingly?!
I have so much in my life, so much in the world,
That is mine or not mine but still so abundant.
And yet I am so unappeased so ungratified.
So worried about what is not, so unsatisfied!!
So when will this end,
And when will I stop wishing,
For things that are not mine,
For needless yearnings?
For once I sat on my bed
And slept satisfied....
Felt like the ocean...deep..a few tides but eventually calmness sustains! Well expressed. Keep writing!
