Hope !

The Hope around a corner flies,

The flutter, the whisper, the silent sigh,

Follow Her around the world

In an effort to catch Her unaware...

A ripple falls across the sea,

The calm waters rise to meet,

What seemed like a distant dream,

Flows away like the night breeze...

The world rises to a cause,

The upbringing a havoc rots,

Of riots and little wars,

Opened windows, opened doors...

I see the change coming through,

The monotony falling past,

The lives of people rising too,

And Hope following us all.

She no longer flutters in the corners,

She no longer breathes a sigh,

We catch Her, hold Her, and keep Her,

And she happily lives by...
