Falling upon a grocery store,
By accident or coincidence,
I remembered the list of forgotten chores,
In my Versace gown, I went!
Clutching my glittery Prada,
Tripping on my fabulous trail,
Tottering in my high heeled Gucci,
I entered the grocery sale!
People stopped to stare at me,
As I foolishly fumbled around,
sorting lemons in a wicker basket,
For Sunday's chocolate mousse!

If I were wearing high heeled Gucci, it would end up being slapstick! I'm a nurse, and not one of the "sexy" kind. I wore Crocs for a while, but my ankles were hurting too much, so I had to go back to orthopedic shoes. :0(

DeleteThis speaker must not have been in New York City... where they would only have stared if the Prada bag was from last year's trend.
