World In My Stilettos...

"Unknown"

Tick tock tick tock tick tock tick tock,
It's not the seconds of the slaving clock,
It's my Jimmy Choo heels meeting the floor,
As I walk in the office through the glass door...
The world abuzz with paper and others,
Haggling about a project or losses or covers,
A fight here, a scoff there, the boss' loud voice upstairs,
Scolding little Mr. Badger for too much delay,
Or the secretary for the sugarless coffee that day,
The coffee machine buzzing busily in the corner,
The clink of tea cups and the rustle of stinky papers,
And All That seems to pause for a moment-
As my Jimmy Choo lands with a "tock" in the hallway!
They all look up to watch as I swagger past,
And some nod their heads or smile with eyes cast,
And I sign a few papers and make a new deal,
Of millions of dollars in a moment's ease,
And wonder if the world could be
In the point of my Jimmy Choo heels!

Deceptively Beautiful!

"Unknown"
My small coin collection!!

Dismissed in Love and Hatred too,
She lay in disregard of her heavy heart,
Thinking maybe she could con him too,
And have a opulent but fresh start!

She knew not sorrow bounds itself,
To swindle, larceny, lust and theft!

~Clapping Man~

"Unknown"
Citizen Kane Clapping!

Long ago on a planet far off,
Maybe it was Neptune,
I forget, forgive my ageing loft!
I saw a man, he was quite a loon,
How do I say that, you ask?
Because he clapped too soon!

No music, no chords,
No rhythm, no cause,
And yet he went on and on,
Clapping and clapping,
'Coz he couldn't stop!

He sat on a stool,
His eyes wide open,
He never could hear,
The clapping of thunder,
As if he heard an unending opera,
Or watched cricket with too many overs!
Day and night he clapped his pink hands,
Never to stop, never understand!

-Like I said he was quite a loon!
-Yes I think he lived on Neptune!
-Oh! You don't believe me, do you now?
'Coz am old and frail, my back hunched low?
-Oh! Go on stupid girl, giggle while you can,
I once went to Neptune and met loony Kane!
Some day when you find him ask him of me,
He will tell you the truth, you wait and see!!

A wind whispered past my ears
My ears think they balanced me
What is the climbing man doing there?
Why is he on my helix free?

I hear it again the wind so soft
The climbing man on a grassy tuft
Wasn't he a few moments past
Climbing up my helix fast?

A smile upon my round face,
From eye to eye and up a pace,
My whiskers flutter in the silent wind,
Do you think a cat can sing?

It can smile for sure! Why I'm smiling,
Am I a cat at all? Confusion piling
The wind again like a restless wave
The smell of heaven in a cave!

Is the man on top of the cave?
I wonder within my smiling face!
Why am I smiling if I'm a cat?
I HAVE WHISKERS! Oh God! Flipping hats!

Hats? What hats? It's a windy day
I like my whiskers to flutter away!!

Smiling Again!

Natsukashi!

"Unknown"
Image found HERE.
Her hands swirled
Her eyes closed
As she flew in the air,
Earth far from her toes,
A flourishing swirl,
Her arms flexed,
Gathering the world,
In a single twirl...
The {taut} bun,
The frilly {little} skirt
Mattered not a {bit};
As she flew again
Up and up
Gravity in disdain!
The world watched
Flabbergasted, awestruck,
But she paid not a heed,
For she was one with music,
Moulding to the beat!
The oneness
of a long lost love
Of passion and fear!
The oneness of loss and despair
Of many a hopeful tears!
Rejuvenated and happy,
Sad, nostalgic, carefree,
Heart bursting with emotions
Trapped for too long,
She felt all at {once}!
Tearing her apart,
As she {sliced} the air-
Her feet touching
her {golden} hair,
Natsukashi searing,
Her heart beat racing,
Rush of adrenaline,
Over and over again!
What if she could never stop?!
